As a network of religious leaders living with/personally affected by HIV/AIDS, NINERELA+ strategically positioned to confront and challenge stigma as well as advocating for prevention, love, care and support of people living with HIV and AIDS within the faith communities, NINERELA+ is making efforts to encourage religious organizations to come to terms with the presence of HIV among their members, empower religious organizations with adequate knowledge and skills to deal with the HIV/AIDS pandemic, advocate for the protection of the basic human rights of religious leaders living with/affected with the virus, solicit for support of religious leaders living with/affected by HIV...

SSDDIM had in many ways finds its roots in most of our faith congregations. It is therefore of no wonder to hear from the Pulpit that "We do not have people of the same sex in our faith congregations having sexual relationships". What a crude way to deny the existence of lesbians and gays in our faith...
